Use the form below for all enquiries. We read and respond to every message, though response times vary depending on volume. For corrections to existing profiles — particularly factual errors, contested interpretations, or significant omissions — please include specific sources where possible.

What to Include for Corrections
The most useful corrections include: the URL of the profile in question, the specific sentence or claim that is incorrect or incomplete, the correct information, and at least one verifiable source — a published book, academic paper, newspaper of record, or official archive. We cannot make changes on the basis of general disagreement without specific sourced alternatives.
Profile Suggestions
The archive currently documents 880+ individuals but the record is far from complete. Suggestions for profiles not yet covered are welcome, particularly for regions currently underrepresented: the Pacific Islands, Central Asia, the Horn of Africa, and pre-twentieth-century Latin America. A brief biography and two or three sources are sufficient to begin a new profile.
Image Rights
All images used in the archive are believed to be in the public domain or used under licence. If you believe an image has been used incorrectly, please contact us with the specific URL, the image in question, and evidence of rights ownership. We will respond within five working days.
